So far, I am getting used to this board. It seems pretty user friendly and much faster than YM.

It's going to take some getting used to, but I got used to the new and improved YM and I actually like the format a lot now. This particular format has a lot going on, though. I would like to see functionality and simplicity.

A new board, in fact any change in computer/internet anything is like trying to cook a complicated new receipe in somebody elses kitchen, where even the can opener is in the "wrong" drawer. Prefer "comfort zone" stuff where I dont have to think too hard about much of anyhthing new at 4 a.m. pacific coast time, before I have had my first cup of coffee.

I like the members who post their location, and have some idea where they are coming from, literally geographically, time zone, climate zone, northern Minnesota, or sub tropical florida, etc
I should figure out how to include mine, Central Oregon, high altitude garden hell, but world class powder snow for skiiers,.
I would love a greenhouse but heating one year around would bust household budgets less than Mrs Bill Gates.
Ironic everybody thinks seniors should yearn to travel, but consider them a bit wierd if they stay home, looking at that sunrich south end of the acerate, and read stuff about the new purple tomatoes hitting the health food market.
there already is a purple potato and its not genetically altered. Also a not quite so purple tomato called purple prince and a couple Amish heirlooms as well
the price of "healthful" blue berries has reached the financial insanity levels.

No kidding! Trying to cook in Gabe's kitchen is an exercise in frustration, indeed. Especially when he comes in and starts to move things around, even as I'm trying to use them. Argh!

Feeling badly. Today my favorite newspaper Chrristian Science Monitor announced today they were "cebrating" their one hundredth anniverary by discontinuing the print edition of their century old newspaper./ started 1908 in response to the "yellow" journalism of that era, that probably by comparison with some of the stuff today would make them look like eves dropping on your maiden aunts tea table chat with friends.
but like they said probably five years ahead of what most print media newspapers are going to have to do to maintain costs for quality news reportage organizations to maintain quality of reportage while remaining on the Internet.

This board is OK. I'll miss the old MSN boards though. I really got use to them.
