Who is gonna win? And, by how much? Also, let's predict which states will be taken. Maybe a small wager as well? ;D ;D

[shadow=red,left,300]To close to call. Dems make a lot of noise and the more noise they make the more Republicans flock to the polls.[/shadow]

Obama. He will win Virginia, Colorado and New Mexico from the Red State column. McCain will not win one Blue State.

Isn't there a saying that you are known by the people you associate with in life?
Now I know some will say McCain and G.W.Bush but they are the same party and that is to expected but are two different people with different ideas on how this country can be run.
Obama has so many questionable characters in his background starting with his father and stepfather who he never mentions. Why is that? I don't have to mention the rest because the media already has.
Then there is the little matter of Sarah Palin's experience. Where does Obama show past experience that surpasses her experience and he is running for the top office. The media made a case of who ever heard of Palin before McCain picked her for VP. Well who ever heard of Obama before the primaries. I also find it funny he would pick a VP who condemned him in the primaries. Don't get me started on Joe Biden. How dare he run of the concept of a PA guy. He left and lives in Delaware and never did a thing except being born and raised in PA for our state. Now there is a professional politician if I ever saw one, How many dumb things has he said and the media ignores them so he doesn't look like a bumbling idiot.
Well that's my 2ยข.

Penn,
I'm quite sure millions of people knew who Obama was, in both Illinois, and nationwide, after his riveting speech at the convention 4 years ago. It's Ron Paul that no one knows. To get it so wrong as to say Obama was an unknown until the primaries basically renders the remainder of your opinions to worthlessness.
However I am quite surprised that Reagan had a terrorist loving friend in Walter Annenberg. Who knew!

Took me all afternoon yesterday to figure out how to vote on so many state propositions and local measures.
A few of the political offices I had figured out but there's a bunch more I've got to read up on today.
There's a local measure to make "city clerk" an appointed rather than elected position - that'll be one less thing to worry about.
The state measures are tricky because sometimes the titles sound good but the text doesn't.
Obama invited me to Chicago for election night but I think I'll just stay home.
